Cold, flu, infections, allergies, rashes, urinary issues. Talk to a NY-licensed provider in 30 minutes to 2 hours — by video or phone, in your language.
If it's something you'd usually go to urgent care for, we can probably handle it by video. Click "Learn more" on any condition for details.
Cough, sore throat, congestion, fever. Antiviral prescriptions when appropriate.
We treat colds, the flu, and flu-like illnesses by video. A NY-licensed provider will review your symptoms, look at your throat by video if helpful, and determine if you need a prescription. For confirmed flu within the first 48 hours of symptoms, antivirals like Tamiflu can shorten how long you're sick. We can also write notes for work or school. What to have ready: a thermometer reading if possible, a list of any current medications, and an idea of when your symptoms started.
UTIs, ear infections, sinus infections, mild skin infections. Antibiotics if needed.
Most common infections — urinary tract infections, sinus infections, ear infections, strep throat, and mild skin infections — can be diagnosed and treated by video. Your provider will assess your symptoms, examine the affected area if visible, and prescribe antibiotics if appropriate. If a culture is needed (like a urine sample or throat swab), we'll send orders to Quest or LabCorp near you. What to have ready: a clear description of your symptoms, when they started, and any over-the-counter medications you've already tried.
Seasonal allergies, allergic rashes, hives. Prescriptions and at-home guidance.
Allergies are one of the most common reasons people use telehealth. Whether it's seasonal allergies (sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose), an allergic rash, or sudden hives, we can help. Our providers will assess your symptoms, review any current medications, and prescribe stronger antihistamines, nasal steroids, or epinephrine auto-injectors when needed. What to have ready: a list of what triggers your symptoms (if you know), how long this episode has lasted, and any allergy medications you've tried.
Rashes, acne flares, eczema, minor wounds. We can see and assess by video.
Skin conditions are perfect for telehealth because your provider can see them clearly by video or photo. We treat rashes, eczema flares, acne, skin infections, hives, dermatitis, and many other conditions. Your provider will examine the affected area, take a careful history, and either prescribe a treatment or refer you to dermatology for more complex issues. What to have ready: good lighting where you can show the skin issue clearly, photos taken in different lighting if it has changed, and a list of any products you've already tried.
Nausea, diarrhea, food poisoning, mild stomach pain. Treatment and red-flag guidance.
Stomach issues like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mild abdominal pain, heartburn, and constipation can usually be evaluated by video. Your provider will take a detailed history, assess for dehydration, and either treat your symptoms or guide you on next steps. We can prescribe anti-nausea medications, anti-diarrheals, or treatment for acid reflux. If your symptoms suggest something more serious (severe pain, blood, signs of appendicitis), we'll get you to in-person care immediately. What to have ready: when symptoms started, what you've eaten recently, and any other symptoms.
Conjunctivitis, styes, dry eye. Antibiotic drops if needed.
Eye irritation, pink eye (conjunctivitis), styes, and dry eyes can all be assessed by video. Your provider will examine your eye, ask about symptoms and contact lens use, and prescribe antibiotic or anti-inflammatory drops if needed. Most cases of pink eye are viral and don't need antibiotics, but if it's bacterial, drops will speed your recovery. For anything that suggests a more serious eye issue, we'll refer you immediately to an ophthalmologist. What to have ready: good lighting, ability to show the eye clearly on camera, and your contact lens information if applicable.
Urgent refills, prescription questions, medication side effects.
Need a refill of a medication you've been taking? Have questions about a side effect? Lost your prescription bottle? We can help. Your provider will review your medication list, talk through what you need, and either refill the prescription or recommend a safer alternative. We also handle medication side effects, drug interactions, and questions about how to take medications properly. What to have ready: the name and dose of the medication, which pharmacy you use, and any concerns or side effects you're experiencing.
Pre-travel consults, post-travel illness, vaccine guidance.
Planning a trip? We can review your destination, recommend vaccines, prescribe malaria prophylaxis, and provide a travel medicine kit prescription. Just got back and feeling sick? Post-travel illness needs a careful eye — we'll review your itinerary, ask about exposures, and either treat you or refer you for testing. What to have ready: your travel dates and destinations, your vaccination history, and details about anything you ate or drank that might be related to your symptoms.
