Effective May 1, 2026 · By using our services, you agree to these terms.
CallMD Now is a New York-licensed telehealth medical practice. Our services include video and phone consultations with NY-licensed clinicians, prescription management, lab orders, and care coordination.
We are not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to an emergency room. Telehealth is not appropriate for life-threatening conditions.
We are not a replacement for in-person care when in-person care is needed. If your provider determines you need to be seen in person, they will refer you appropriately.
You must be located in New York State at the time of your visit. You must be at least 18 years old to consent to your own care, or a parent or legal guardian if booking for a minor. You must provide accurate information.
By using our service, you understand: telehealth has limitations (no physical exam, no labs at point of care, limited ability to assess certain conditions); your provider may determine telehealth is not appropriate for your needs; your visit will be documented in your medical record; communications between you and your provider are confidential subject to legal exceptions; technology can fail (we'll reschedule if it does).
Prescriptions are issued at the discretion of your provider based on clinical judgment. We may decline to prescribe certain medications by telehealth, particularly controlled substances. We will explain if we cannot fill a request.
If insurance covers your visit, we bill your insurance directly. If self-pay, payment is collected at booking. Refunds are available if your visit cannot be completed for technical reasons on our end.
You can cancel up to 1 hour before your appointment without charge. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the self-pay rate (or the applicable copay if covered).
Use of our services is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we limit our liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for medical malpractice, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated. Continued use of our services means acceptance.
