Do you accept NY Medicaid?

Yes. We're in-network with every major NY Medicaid HMO — Healthfirst, Fidelis Care, MetroPlus, EmblemHealth Enhanced Care, MVP, Anthem HealthPlus, Molina Healthcare, and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Most members pay $0.

How quickly can I be seen?

Every visit is available within 30 minutes to 2 hours of booking — for urgent care, primary care, mental health, chronic care, specialty care, and pediatrics. No three-month waits, no day-after appointments only.

Do I need to download an app?

No. We send you a link by text or email. Click it, allow camera access, and you're in the visit. Works on any phone or computer with a recent browser.

Can you prescribe medications?

Yes, for most non-controlled medications. Your prescription goes directly to your pharmacy — most pharmacies have it ready in 30 minutes. For controlled substances (Adderall, Xanax, opioids), there are stricter rules — we'll explain during your visit.

Is my visit private?

Yes. We're HIPAA-compliant. Your visit is encrypted, your records are protected, and we don't sell your data. See our HIPAA notice for details.

What if I need to be seen in person?

If your provider determines you need in-person care, they'll refer you to a NYC Health + Hospitals location, Mount Sinai, Northwell, or another specialist in our network — and call ahead so you're expected.

Will I see a doctor or someone else?

Depending on your visit, you may see a NY-licensed physician (MD or DO), nurse practitioner (NP), physician assistant (PA), or licensed therapist (LCSW or LMHC). Every clinician is licensed and credentialed in NY State, and you'll see their credentials before your visit begins.

What languages do you speak?

Our providers speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Bengali, Haitian Creole, and Arabic. We also have professional medical interpreters available in 240+ other languages.

Can I do a video visit on my phone?

Yes. Most of our patients use their phone. You can also use a tablet or computer with a camera. We recommend WiFi if available, but cellular data works fine.

Is this for emergencies?

No. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of stroke, severe injury, suicidal thoughts, or any life-threatening symptom — call 911 or go to an emergency room. Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies.

Can I see the same provider every time?

Yes, for primary care and mental health, you'll have a dedicated provider. For urgent care, we match you with whoever is available fastest — but you can request a specific provider if they have availability.
